Kapers in Singapore
Hello, on my way to some Kite festivals in Asia ( Satun, Thailand, Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, Kabong, Sarawak) I will be stopping for a few days in Singapore. Any hints or targets to KAP would be welcomed, any recommendation as to where to fly a kite would be great! Eric Chew I believe, is from Singapore but has not been active for a while, maybe Wind Watcher you have been kaping in Singapore. I'll be there Feb 14-15. Thanks

Pierre,
Singapore can be a wonderful and challenging place to fly kites. I worked in Singapore for several months and few and KAPed alot. The urban center KAPing required all my skills. Flying kites at the Marina Barrage (known local kite spot) was more relaxing.
A wonderful place to fly. The winds are very light.... generally well under 10 mph.
Enjoy your trip and take lots of KAP pictures!
